Today, I experienced the actual atmosphere of the “Homegrown” event. It is a local-produced show that provides a talent space for the local artistes. With our limited and restricted space for creativity in the country, the show deserves a big applaud.
Despite the fact that I felt slightly out of place, as the auditorium was occupied by mainly teens, I felt happy in beneath. I am rather disappointed with our education system which is exam-oriented and does not allow enough space for the young people to generate ideas, which in the long run, we produce ‘robotic’ generation.
So people out there, do drop by Wisma Bentley at Mutiara Damansara during the weekends for a glimpse of those excellent local-produced talents!
